A very nicely decorated place, easily accessible from the highway. Lots of interesting food options. The green curry was delicious.

Great food and service another great visit.

Meals are expensive but the portions are large and the food is cooked extremely well. The Luscious burger is a huge burger stacked tall with a juicy patty and nice crispy fries that are reminiscent of Costco fries. The chicken katsu was breaded and fried on site with a nice juicy centre and fluffy crust. The spicy dishes e.g. red Thai curry and one of a kind pasta were very spicy. Parking is easy and plentiful.

Nice environment and super amiable service. The meals were fresh and yummy. Will easily recommend this spot to others. Affordable prices and large portions. Good job.

Great steak at a reasonable price.

I just went with some friends last night. Nice and relax environment for casual dining. I love their mussels in sake sauce. Also, the Tana Carpacio is pretty good too. If you can eat spicy, make sure to order the fried chicken!

This restaurant is spacious and clean. Average prices and ok service. The duck breast spaghetti that I had were way too salty , it was literally soaked with a thick sauce !!!! My husband didn't complain the curry beef he had but no compliments either. We will come again and order something else. I like to give this place a second chance mainly due to the comfy and clean environment.Update: I am glad I came here for a second chance. This time the spaghetti was very good, not salty and not too much sauce, just perfect. Going to change my rating from 3 stars to 4.

The restaurant has a sense of rich vibes and comfortable space. Love the clean and quiet atmosphere! Our waiter which seems a young teenage guy who served us was very helpful, always on the lookout of the 6 customers in my table! The food was spectacular deliciously amazing! Definitely will be coming back! Just love how the restaurant is just so clean and great services! Love the services!

Service was good but the food is just okay. I do recommend the deep fried bao bao as a starter :) .. deep fried bread with condensed milk to dip in..sign me up!

Was presently surprised at the conversion of what used to be "Maison Du Japon" all-you-can-eat Japanese to this newly renovated Asian fusion with little twists of Western fare. The manager/co-owner stayed on from the previous restaurant and is an expert in customer satisfaction. Although it is no longer all-you-can-eat, the price for the food portion you are getting is reasonable. You can still get sushi items a la carte. We had calamari and bruschetta, a chicken breast in a mushroom sauce with veggies, and a tuna poke bowl on spring mix salad. Even picky eaters will find something they like on this wide-ranging menu!

Where else can you get an awesome gigantic homestyle burger alongside a delicious plate of sushi?!?! I'll definitely be here again! Service was fast, food was delicious and plentiful, atmosphere was swanky but prices were good.

Silly name, good food. Let me start off saying I like the old restaurant Maison du japon that use to be here. I decide to give this a chance and I'm glad I did. the decor is different than the old restaurant everything is renovated and it's nicely done. Food was fairly price with good size portions and it tasted good. It was very similar if not the same as the previous restaurant. The only issue I had was that service was a bit slow due to being slightly understaffed. Our waiter whom I believe is actually the manager was polite and offered good suggestions for us as well. there was quite the range in menu with both Asian, Japanese, Western and Asian fusion. I'll be back to try lunch.EDIT: I went back for lunch and it was enjoyable as well. Service was fairly quick even though it was a bit busy. Price was fair, food was good although I enjoy dinner better.

An awkward location but the food was really good. Ordered a veal chop dinner set and smoke duck breast dinner. The size and portion was very satisfactory and cook very well!

Nice ambiance and very eclectic menu.Food was tasty (although my tempura was pretty mediocre) but slightly on the pricey side. They do have some very unique dishes and you can tell they put effort into their dishes; hence the price.Like some of the other reviewers mentioned; if you can’t decide on a restaurant, come here and you can something of everything (sushi, ramen, pasta, burgers)

Good food right at the corner of John and Woodbine! Went here for lunch and they had a good variety of food on their menu at affordable prices. Asian food, burgers, pasta, sushi.. may sound like odd combos, but it works!

We arrived at this spot for dinner. we heard about this place from a lot of people. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff were extremely nice and we had a great feeling. The meal was great. We loved this place very much and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

The menu is quite extensive, from sushi to Italian pasta to ramen to hakka fried rice, they have everything. The food overall is average. The two pasta we ordered was supposed to be fresh pasta, but I have my doubts. The ramen texture and broth wasn’t bad, but wasn’t a fan of the frozen peas/corn added. The average price for a dish is $18-20+

Back again on Mar 22/19It’s a pleasure to sit in this restaurant as it’s warm and inviting. The service was great and the food even better. The serving size vs price is excellent. They do have a wide selection on their menu so it easy to find something you want. Love the decor of the new place. One of the best looking dining rooms in Markham. The service is awesome and the quality of the food is outstanding. The price for what you get is reasonable. The desserts may seem a bit pricey to some but they are well worth the price. Miss the All you can eat Japanese however this new look and menu is a great change. Totally impressed with the quality of the food, portion size and price. Dish presentation was very nice and the new decor was nice welcome as the old place was a little tired. I recommend that you give it a try as I don’t think you will be disappointed. The service was warm and friendly.

The overall food quality was above average. I like the deep fried man tou. The man tou was flaky and not oily. It was crunchy and hot. However, I was not impressed with the zebra pasta which I believe is one of their signature dishes promoted over the radio. The pasta was too thick and the seafood was tasteless. It didn’t impress me. My husband liked the lobster ramen. Its not bad to get a lobster ramen for only $22.Just a side note on the interior since we discussed a lot during the dinner. I think the overall interior wasn’t done very well. I know they have a renovation but the restaurant looks empty with too much space in different areas. Some tables are cramped together and some are stand alone on one side. The spacing can be done better to boost a better dining environment.

Decent food. Agree with other reviewer. Takes way too long to receive dishes.

Their miso ramen is delicious! Honestly, one of the best I've had. The katsu is thick and plentiful. They also give you a lot so you definitely won't be leaving hungry. Sushi is also delicious, albeit quite pricey. Really nice interior as well. I always enjoy coming here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good, well-rounded Asian Restaurant.

Restaurant was innovated, before it was Jananese all you can eat. We have lunch today. Place is clean, foods are good, they have Janapese bento boxes, ramen, pastas and hamburgers. We will go again
